What we offer

Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.

Canteen

All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options – to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students. Visit Healthy school canteens to learn more.

Lunch orders are collected on Wednesday mornings and delivered Thursday lunchtime. Lunch orders are prepared by a local Cafe, Crust n Crumb. Please refer to the link below for the lunch order price list.

Uniforms

When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.

Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:

  • meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation

  • includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics

  • is appropriate for the full range of school activities

  • is suitable for all body shapes.

Uniform shop

The uniform shop is run by the Jamberoo Public School parent and citizen association. It is open each Tuesday during school term from 8:45am to 9:15am and is located in Block A (look for the sign on the door). Enquires can be made via email jamberoo.uniform.shop@gmail.com

Hiring our facilities

You may apply to use our school’s facilities for appropriate purposes provided your hiring of the facility doesn't interfere with our teaching and learning programs.

We assess each application on a case-by-case basis. Find out more at Using school facilities.

At Jamberoo Public School we acknowledge that we live and play on the land of the Wodi Wodi People of the Five Islands Dreaming, here on Dharawal Country. Jamberoo represents a safe walking track for all generations to walk on. We acknowledge our ancestors and Elders who have brought us to this place and we respect the lessons they have passed down to us. Jamberoo Public School aims to strive and succeed as we continue to Care for Country. Jamberoo was a resting place for Aboriginal People on their travels both along the coast and up the mountain. The cultural connections to Jamberoo Public School are the ochre from Kiama and Gerringong which was used in traditional ceremonies, the standing stones and the Dreaming story of Gurrungutch the Eel of Minnumara. As we walk this track on our learning journey, we acknowledge and respect our teachers, staff and community here at Jamberoo.
