Events
School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our school events are:
- Orientation Days – Welcoming new students and families to help them settle in and feel part of our community from day one.
- Sports Carnivals – Including Swimming, Cross Country, and Athletics, where students enjoy friendly competition and teamwork
- Open Day and School Tours – Giving families a window into daily learning and the vibrant life of our school.
- Book Week – Celebrations that promote inclusiveness, diversity, and a love of reading.
- Excursions and Incursions – Enriching classroom learning with hands-on and real-world experiences.
- Performances, Concerts and School Productions – Showcasing our students’ talents in choir, music, dance, and drama.
- Public Speaking (K–6), Debating, and Tournament of the Minds – These opportunities help students express their ideas clearly and confidently in front of an audience, building valuable lifelong skills.
- Cultural Events - Our school embraces cultural events such as Sorry Day, the Reconciliation Walk, and Immersion Day to celebrate and acknowledge Australia’s rich Indigenous heritage and cultural diversity.
- Remembrance Day and ANZAC Day - Our school community comes together to honour and remember the courage and sacrifice of those who have served our country.
- Fundraising, Charity and Community Events – Encouraging social responsibility and community engagement.
- Fortnightly Assemblies – Bringing the school community together to share news, celebrate success, and build school spirit.
