From 1st March students will be able to logon to the Premier's Reading Challenge website to enter the ID number of the books they have read. Students can access their own Reading Record by using their DET user name and password. (The same one they use to access the Internet at school). The book title and author automatically appear after you type in the ID number. The ID number of the books in our school library can be found on the top of the first page of the book. When you have entered the correct number of books, the record will be automatically sent to the Department of Education and Training site.
You can access the PRC site via the school website or Google PRC and select NSW Premier's Reading Challenge. If you have any queries please see Mrs Cartwright.
Students will also be given a sheet to fill in at home if they prefer to do it this way. The class with the highest percentage of students who finish the challenge, will be treated to a class party.
K-2 = 30 books, Yr 3-6 = 20 books.
